PARAULES D'OBERTURA A LA CONFERENCIA SOBRE INNOVACIO I CREACIO D'OCUPACIO (BARCELONA 8-9 SETEMBRE 1986) - En primer 'loe vull donar les gràcies a la OCDE per la seva valuosa aportació a l'organització d'aquesta Conferència, E l seu coneixement de les experiències de diferente paisos i la visió global que li és pròpia constitueixen la base del Programa d'Acció Conjunta d'Iniciatives Locals per a la Creació d'Ocupació, alguns de quins aspectes,relacionats amb l'innovació, es tractaran durant aquests dos dies. - Les experiències dels diferents països posen de manifest que la innovació o la creativitat empresarial contribueixen ¡ positivament a la creació d'ocupació, malgrat la persistència . ., de taxes d'atur elevades. El dinamisme econòmic d'un pais es podria mesurar en termes de creació d'empreses. Per això, la creativitat empresarial s'ha convertit, a mitjans d'aquesta década, en un punt clau del discurs p p lític deis paisos industrialitzats. - El ritme de creixement de les innovacions i la difussió de noves tecnologies ha provocat l'aparició de nous tipus Wempresaris, noves formes d'organització del treball i del. lleure, novas maneras de pensar i actuar. Al mateix temps que s'está creant un nou teixit industrial, és tata l'economia, la societat i la cultura que s'estan transformant. �2. - Una manifestació d'aquest nou model, és el nombre creixent de Pares Cientrfics e Pares Tecnològics -hi ha una gran varietat de noms per expresar el mateix fenòmen - que estan sorgint en els paísos industrialitzats. La idea básica és que per . fer front a la internacionalització i la competència creixent de l'economie(i la competéncia creixent de l'economia)s necessari no perdre el tren de la revolució tecnológica. Els Pares Tecnològics -rom nosaltres anomenem el nostre- constitueixen el tema central d'aquesta Conferéncia- - Seria erroni considerar els Pares Tecnològics com una panacea per tots els problemes econòmics actuals i en especial el més greu de tots: l'atur. Sovint la creació d'ocupació es produeix a mig o liarg termini. Pera si que tenen un valor exemplificador corn a expressió d'un 1:en5men més ampli: la necessitat d'un apropament i una interacció entre els mons de la recerca, l'ensenyament i la indústria en el nou model econbmic que s'está creant.
