Sr. Alcalde: Con-motivo de la inauguración de la nueva plaza de Azuchi me es muy grato enviarle a Vd. y a todos sus conciudadanos un mensaje de felicitación en mi nombre y en el de toda la ciudad de Barcelona. Barcelona se une a la conmemoración de la misión de los Jóvenes Legados de Tensho, cuya gesta histórica será perpetuada en el mural de la plaza. En esta ocasión en que recordamos el Renacimiento japonés que tuvo lugar hace más de cuatrocientos años gracias al intercambio entre Oriente y Occidente, quiero expresar mis votos el intercambio entre nuestros países, entre para nuestras sociedades. En este intercambio el papel de las ciudades ha de ser cada vez más import ante.
